We all have a story inside of us, ready to be told. Ready to be heard. Ready to be accepted. As humans we connect with ourselves and those around us through our personal narrative. We empathize, laugh, weep, and connect on a very basic level through the stories we tell about ourselves. Some may be joyful while others may be too difficult or painful to put into words, but nonetheless, they deserve to be told. They are beautiful narratives that have the power to change the way we see the world around us.

As a first generation American-born South Asian woman, I know all too well the pain that comes with untold stories, and it is what led me in my journey to become a therapist. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients in their journey of healing, empowering them to find their voice and their truth. My work for over ten years has been focused on trauma, abuse, anxiety, and crisis intervention. I have worked with victims and family members of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Through this work I have learned that the journey to healing can feel arduous and at times can be painful, but I have also learned that by leaning into this pain it is possible to find healing. I am also certain that true and lasting healing comes from Jesus Christ, and it is a joy to be able to share His love with all who are willing to accept.

As a wife and mother to three beautiful boys, I strongly believe that we all deserve to find peace and joy in our short journey on this earth. My passion is to help people empower themselves through the process of confronting and working through their personal narrative, in order to be joyful, resilient, and at peace.
